A new type of dry magnetic separator developed by Xinhai. 【Processing capacity】: ≤150t/h 【Scope of application】: It can be used for dry pre-selection of lean magnetite and rich iron ore before grinding; re-separation of magnetite from tailings; recovery of ferromagnetic minerals from steel slag waste.
1. The dry magnetic separator can make the minerals quickly undergo magnetic reversal and magnetic agitation, realize the efficient separation of magnetic minerals and non-(weak) magnetic minerals, and the mineral loss rate is small;
2. Compared with conventional magnetic drum and conventional dry separator, this dry magnetic separator can effectively solve the problems of eddy current heating, easy sticking of ore and difficulty in unloading.
3. Under the condition that the grade of the tailings in the magnetic drum or conventional dry separator is equivalent or even lower, for the rich magnetite of different properties, by adjusting the corresponding technical parameters and structures, it can be compared with the magnetic drum or conventional dry separation. The machine throws more tails by about 10~30%, which is about 1.0%~8.7% higher than the conventional magnetic drum or conventional dry separator. In the case of fine crushing to less than 2mm and coarse inlaid particle size, it can be directly obtained. Qualified concentrate with a grade of more than 60%;
4. The magnetic system package is made of non-magnetic stainless steel to ensure that the magnet does not fall off;
5. The sorting cylinder is covered with wear-resistant rubber, and the service life is significantly improved.
The separator working principle: In the separation area of the separation cylinder, the centrifugal force and gravitation of magnetic minerals mingled with non-magnetic minerals are much less than the magnetic force. With the adsorption of the magnetic force and the joint action of the magnetic turn and agitation of magnetic minerals, the magnetic minerals will move to the inter layer gradually. When the magnetic minerals rotate to the ore unloading area with the separation cylinder, as the rotation magnetic system is eccentric, the magnetic density of the ore unloading area for the separation cylinder is extremely weak, and most of the magnetic minerals can fall off automatically. A small quantity of magnetic minerals not falling off will be adsorbed to the external surface of the ore unloading cylinder with higher magnetic density when rotating to the position nearby the ore unloading cylinder so as to realize the automatic unloading of magnetic minerals.
